The House of the Oaks
Located in a private hillside location, this beautifully restored stone villa, offers guests a lovely blend of old materials and modern comforts in a striking setting. The house has two double bedrooms; two bathrooms; gourmet, well-provisioned country kitchen; and living room with open fireplace on each of two floors, providing elegant spaces for up to eight people. French doors and outdoor eating terraces make the landscape an integral part of the indoor and outdoor environment of the house, a constant reminder of the Tuscan and Umbrian landscapes made famous by Giotto and Piero della Francesca.
Highlights for us were the pool, the sunsets, the dinners with Paola. We loved touring Assisi, Montalcino, Montepulciao, Siena, and Trevi.
